INVITES BIDS FOR RENOVATION OF MALE WARD AT KALANGALA HEALTH CENTRE IV, IN KALANGALA
DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT - Procurement Reference Number: KIS/ADMIN/00001/OPEN/2023
1. Kalangala Infrastructure Services on behalf of Kalangala District Local Government has set aside funds for the renovation of a
male ward at Kalangala Health Centre IV, in Kalangala District Local Government.
2. Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd. (KIS) on behalf of Kalangala District Local Government invites sealed bids for the
provision of the above works.
3. The Procurement is for renovation of a male ward at Kalangala Health Centre IV, in Kalangala District local government.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic bidding method contained in Kalangala Infrastructure Services
(KIS) Procurement and Assets Disposal Manual, 2021.
5. This procurement is reserved for Local and Resident Providers; Foreign Providers are not eligible to participate as per KIS
Guidelines on Reservations Schemes to promote local Content in Public Procurement 2021.
6. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd. (KIS) and inspect the bidding
documents at any of its offices from 9.00am to 5.00pm during official working days only.
7. Bidders MUST visit the site and obtain a Site Visit Certificate to familiarize with the terrain of the specified site.
8. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of UGX. 102,000 (one hundred two thousand only) The method of payment to Stanbic Bank, Account title: Kalangala
Infrastructure Services Ltd. No. 9030005674777. The documents will be picked from KIS Procurement and Disposal Unit upon
presentation of a receipt from the finance department of Kalanga Infrastructure Services Ltd. No liability shall be accepted for
loss or late delivery.
9. Bids must be addressed to KIS Procurement Committee and to be delivered to Kalangala Infrastructure Services (KIS) Head
offices in Kalangala District One original and two copies as well as a soft copy using email: procurementcommittee@kis.co.ug on or before 20/07/2023, 12:00pm. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the Kalangala Infrastructure Services premises located on plot 3 & 5, Mwena Road, Kalangala Town Council, at 12:30pm.
