Call for EoI to Supply and Install a Hybrid Reactive Power Compensator

Interested firms are invited to submit EoI proposals for Supply and Installation of a Hybrid Reactive Power Compensator

Specific activities and scope of work:

The contractor / service provider shall;

• review the attached detailed problem description,
• conduct relevant study/analysis deemed necessary to providing a solution,
• provide the Hybrid (Inductive & Capacitive) Power Compensator.

Attached below, is a short description background to the problem being faced since commencement of Power generation in 2015, which you’re required to study and thereafter submit an EOI proposal to its effect including the financial costing. The EoI should be in a sealed envelop addressed to “KIS Procurement Committee”, to be received at our Kampala or Kalangala Office not later than 28th August 2019.

We shall also be happy to accommodate any other innovative ideas that may lead us to achieve a permanent solution to the specified challenges.
