KIS Blood Donation Campaign 2020

In 2018, there was a national blood crisis and when the Ministry of Health put out an outcry, we responded by organising the first edition of our blood donation campaign in collaboration with Uganda Blood Transfusion and RedCross Uganda. Together with the people of Kalangala, we collected 433 units of blood, and 533 units in the second edition in 2019.
The third edition of our blood donation campaign is back for 2020 and we strive to collect over 600 units. We therefore invite all citizens of Kalangala district to join us while we save lives by donating blood starting on the 19th Feb till 22nd Feb 2020.
